Our Story: Honoring the Bold
Because a Standard Funeral Couldn't Hold Their Spirit.
It started with a simple, frustrating realization: The funeral industry was built for mourning, but we wanted to celebrate.
When we lose someone who lived a "big" life—someone who was adventurous, strong, loud, and passionate—a quiet service in a beige funeral home often feels wrong. It feels too small. It feels like it doesn't fit the person we loved.
We looked for alternatives and found that the modern world had lost the art of the "Send-Off."
So, we looked back.
The Wisdom of the Old Ways
To the ancient Norse, death was not a sterile medical event to be hidden away. It was the final voyage. It was a moment to gather the kin, raise a horn, tell the sagas of the fallen, and equip them for their next journey.
They understood that grief is not just something you feel; it is something you do. You build the fire. You carve the wood. You pour the mead.
Viking Memorials was born from this need to bring that tangible, physical dignity back to the modern goodbye.
We Are Not a Costume Shop
There are plenty of places to buy plastic Viking helmets and cheap props. This is not one of them.
We specialize in Ritual-Grade items.
-
Our Urns are hand-carved from solid wood, meant to be held, touched, and passed down.
-
Our Horns are polished and sealed, designed for a solemn toast, not a frat party.
-
Our Jewelry is solid stainless steel, heavy enough to feel like a permanent promise.
We source our products with a specific purpose in mind: To help you build a ceremony that feels real.
Who is a "Modern Viking"?
You don't have to have Norwegian DNA to have a Viking heart. You don't have to be a history reenactor or a religious scholar.
A "Modern Viking" is anyone who lived by the code of Courage, Honor, and Strength.
-
It’s the grandfather who worked with his hands until his last day.
-
It’s the sister who fought her illness with the ferocity of a shieldmaiden.
-
It’s the friend who loved the ocean, the mountains, and the freedom of the open road.
If they lived boldly, they deserve to be remembered boldly.

This partnership ensures that our boats are not merely decorative; they are functional vessels designed to perform perfectly during the ceremony.
The Legal & Ethical Standard In an industry often clouded by ambiguity, we stand as the experts in compliant, eco-conscious farewells.
